Description:In 2014 an unnamed stillman accidentally mixed Machir Bay and Port Matured Kilchoman while vatting casks, the result came to be known as 'Kilchoman Am Burach ' - meaning 'the mess' in Gaelic. This one-off whisky had a complicated nine years maturation, a combination of bourbon and sherry matured whisky with port cask matured whisky, recasked into bourbon barrels for six years and finished in ruby Port casks. Sweet and smoky, this one-of-a-kind single malt has aromas of red fruits, creamy vanilla, heathery peat smoke and dried fruit on the nose that are echoed on the palate.
