Nose:Fragrant with good body. Notes of oak, crisp spice, dried fruit, pastries. Berry fruits, aniseed, hints of cedar, a touch of spice and citrus.

Palate:Supple and balanced. Good toffee and hints of very wistful smoke. Chocolate, hints of grass and a good hit of malt. Finish:Floral, oaky, good length, urged on by a plume of very well-kept, highland style smoke. Dried fruit, spice, honey.

Overall:One of the ultimate premium blends, Blue Label is a legend in its own right and will continue to be.

Description:A tribute to Alexander Walker, the first edition of John Walker & Sons Master Blenders Collection is a blend that expresses of the distinctive boldness and flavour of the Victorian era, and consists of whiskies that are at least 30 years old. Only 1438 bottles of this unique Scotch whisky were produced. To ensure that this blend truly honours Alexander Walker, our master blender insisted on using whiskies only from distilleries that existed during the Victorian era. Presented in a Baccarat crystal decanter that reflects the lavish sensibilities of the 19th Century, this coveted limited edition is a timeless commemoration to the spirit of Alexander Walker and the grandeur of his achievements.
